Scope of the service

What the product is, and what it is not.

Effective date: April 1, 2026.

Try Your METAR is an educational aviation weather training product designed to help users practise METAR, TAF, and ATIS interpretation.

Try Your METAR is provided for training and self-study only. It is not an operational briefing tool, dispatch tool, flight planning service, or substitute for official aeronautical publications, live weather sources, or operational decision-making.

Try Your METAR is an independent product operated by Daniel Rosell as an individual based in Spain.

Accounts and personal use

Access is personal and individual.

Accounts are personal to the registered user and are intended for individual use only.

Account sharing is not allowed. Each user must maintain and use their own account.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity carried out through your account.

You must provide accurate information when using authenticated features and keep it reasonably up to date.

Training content and operational responsibility

AI-generated training content must not be treated as operational guidance.

Questions, explanations, synthetic ATIS briefings, and related content may be generated or transformed from current weather reports and other product logic.

Generated training content may contain mistakes, omissions, ambiguities, or simplifications. You must verify operational information through official and current sources before making any real-world aviation decision.

If any generated question appears wrong, ambiguous, or misleading, you may report it through the product workflow or by contacting support.

Plans, payments, and digital access

How paid access works.

Paid access is currently offered as one-time digital access windows of 7, 15, and 30 days.

Access starts immediately after successful payment confirmation.

Prices, plans, access windows, feature sets, and limits may change over time. Where a change materially affects existing paid users, reasonable prior notice will be given, and the current target notice period is at least 30 days.

Stripe may handle payment processing, invoicing, and tax calculation according to its own systems and the applicable jurisdiction.

Refunds and EU digital content notice

Important purchase terms.

All purchases are final. Refunds are not normally provided once a purchase has been completed.

Refunds may be granted at the operator's sole discretion in verified technical failure cases or other exceptional circumstances reviewed individually.

If you are a consumer in the European Union and purchase immediate access to digital content or digital services, you acknowledge that access begins straight away and that, once access has started, any withdrawal or cancellation right that would otherwise apply may be lost to the extent permitted by law.

Acceptable use

Uses that are not allowed.

You must not scrape the service at scale, automate excessive requests, probe for vulnerabilities, bypass usage rules, resell question content, or build derivative bulk datasets from the service without express prior written permission.

You must not use the service for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or infrastructure-harming purposes.

The operator may suspend, restrict, or close accounts for abuse, chargebacks, fraud, suspicious activity, or other conduct considered harmful to the service, with or without prior notice and at the operator's discretion.

Support, complaints, and account closure

How to contact the operator.

Support, legal complaints, and account-related requests can be sent to help@try-your-metar.com.

The operator aims to reply to legal or complaint-related messages within 7 business days.

Requests to close an account or request deletion of personal data may also be sent to help@try-your-metar.com. The operator aims to process those requests within 30 days, subject to applicable law.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided with limited warranties and limited liability.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, or non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, reliance-based, or other losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service, even if advised that such losses were possible.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Governing law and venue

Applicable law and dispute forum.
